In The Newz, the recent repeated sexual harassment allegations has set a new tone in our societies evolving cultural norms. Are we all part of the problem by giving someone, somewhere in our lives a pass for their racism, sexism, anti-semitism, and all the other isms? The recent release of the scandalous book Fire and Fury has been touted by some of our friends as validating our May 22, 2017 broadcast outlining our predictions for the Trump presidency. We take a moment to remind you of our shocking predictions, and add to list of things you need to know are coming.
In Marijuana 4 Dummies, it’s 2018 and we have recreational marijuana in California, but the roll out hasn’t been smooth, and we think you should keep your card handy. All of this increases the problem of exactly where do you go to smoke legally? Right now, nowhere. Once again we take the time to warn you, don’t smoke and drive (Uber and Lyft are there for you 24/7), and DON’T sit in your car with the windows up and think it’s OK to smoke one. You could get a hefty fine, or worse.
In Victor Allen’s Nu New Sports, the Minnesota Vikings’ last play victory over the New Orlean Saints 29-24 was something special, but the whiffed tackle by the Vikings DB Marcus Williams, ranks high among all time fails in front of a world wide audience. The Pittsburgh Steelers now know to be careful what you say and do before games. Steeler Safety Mike Mitchell is now the target of a lot of anger for his remarks saying he was looking past the Jacksonville Jaguars to play the New England Patriots. The Tennessee Titans arrived in New England with youthful energy and left with decisive lost vs the Patriots 35-14. The Philadelphia Eagles stopped the run and put the ball in Matt Ryans hands only to score a measly 10 points in a 15-10 defeat. The Cleveland Cavaliers losing streak continues with bad defense, and LiAngelo and LaMelo Ball go scoreless in their debut.
