The Pyeonchang Winter Olympics was not the best medal showing based on expectations by the USA contingent, but the women produced more medal winners than the men. Curling Gold by the USA men was historic, but will it generate more interest and buzz in the sport. Jamie Anderson’s snowboard slopestyle big air and Mikaela Schiffrin’s downhill slalom and alpine skiing were the only USA multi medalist. The Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma Thunder gave us three quarters of a battle worthy of a playoff atmosphere until the final blowout defeat by ‘The Bay’ 112-80 on February 23, 2018. Golden State Warrior Center Darth Zaza (Zaza Pachulia), strikes again and the target was Oklahoma Thunder Russell Westbrook’s legs.
