We also take the time to acknowledge the life of community activist and rapper, Nipsey Hussle, who passage still has the community in an uproar.
In Marijuana 4 Dummies, the question is do you know what a “Cannabis Social Equity Grant” is? Well, you are not alone. This California program has $10 million dollars set aside for programs designed to increase minorities and those most affected by the war on drugs in the cannabis industry. Implementation is reportedly particularly bad in Los Angeles. Well it seems the rollout has been so slow, folks are frustrated and complaining, and now we find out the whole program is shut down while new “guidelines” are developed. Hmmm… In Los Angeles, the mayor is considering a crackdown on unlicensed dispensaries, and Alaska is the first state to approve rules for onsite consumption of marijuana. Yay!
In Sportz, the Baylor Bears capture their third National Championship title by defeating the Notre Dame Fighting Irish 82-81, and possibly establishing themselves as a legit powerhouse. The Men’s National Championship title game with Texas Tech vs. Virginia will possibly suffer low ratings due to the absence of Duke’s Zion and company. Duke is also investigating claims Zion was paid by Nike. Our Zion show feature continues with our own fantasy draft and the three strong teams who have the potential for landing the services of Zion Williamson. NFL receiver Antonio Brown just can’t stop it! The latest episode has Pittsburgh Steeler Juju Smith-Schuster as his latest target.
