Happy Memorial Day! Take a moment to reflect on those who gave their all. We owe them. Well, I (finally) went walking with my special one, who outfitted me with ankle weights, fed and hydrated me fully, and then led me on a walk through the neighborhood I grew up in. Wonderful… I almost died! Well, not really, but it sure felt like it. The good news is that day number two if feeling better. And so, the Saga continues…

The second good news of the day is that a federal judge has blocked Trump’s planned “emergency” transfer of funds to build the proposed border wall. Supposedly pages of the judge’s decision referenced Trump’s public musings and tweets. Wow!
In Marijuana 4 Dummies, the California Senate has approved legislation to produce state-chartered cannabis banks to help California based marijuana businesses get around federal restrictions on access to banking. As part of the state legislation, private banks or credit unions apply for a restricted-objective state charter so they can accept deposits and provide services to licensed cannabis organizations. It is hoped this passage in the nation’s most populous state could put pressure on the U.S. Congress to federally legalize banking for the marijuana business.
